Charlottesville Pond

After the lunch social / business meeting on January 29th several of us went to look at Ed's pond. Ed has offered to let us have meets there which is very exciting. The pond is located fairly centrally relative to our most active members. All we need to do now is work out the details what sort of meets we want to have when!

The pond was a little low right now. Ed has said that it fills up again in the spring. The pond is much larger than we need - which is not really a problem because it is shallow. If you want to get a feeling for how large the pond is look for the three horses standing next to the dock with Drew and Charles. No really. there is a dock and horses. Here is only the left half of the image to help you out

Look closely towards the right and you will see two of the three horses standing next to the dock. If you still don't believe me...
